Yes, I heard this also. Time for a concrete decision to be made once and for all. If players do not want PJ, time to make their voices be heard. They sacrifice too much of their time if they do not see things improving. Scrambled (Galway) - Posts: 8 - 18/10/2021 17:55:37 2386138 Link 0 |

I've read some strange things on this site but few stranger than saying Galway club is shocking when its won the last 3 All Ireland's and the only teams thatve got anywhere close or beat that team are all within the county. Bizarre stuff PressureKick (UK) - Posts: 263 - 18/10/2021 19:12:13 2386151 Link 3 |

Cian O'Neill in as coach with PJ. Most people knew PJ was going to stay on in fairness, but that a shake up was needed in the backroom team. This could be interesting, I wonder has anyone left the backroom team to make way for O'Neil... Gaillimh11 (Galway) - Posts: 16 - 19/10/2021 07:34:09 2386176 Link 0 |
A "big" name, journeyman, who has won nothing announced as our new football coach, what a charade.

Nothing appointment in fairness. O NEILL has more experience than Pj and scan put together but he'll have no say.. Belclare (Galway) - Posts: 904 - 19/10/2021 10:23:26 2386198 Link 0 |
I hope u are wrong, but fear u might be correct. O'Neill has a top level sports science background. At the very least his input into S&C would bring us on miles. If used correctly he could make a big difference. Did any of the back room team leave? Mayonman (Galway) - Posts: 1918 - 19/10/2021 10:42:48 2386205 Link 0 |

Such a lack of respect for the players They did all they could for the good of Galway football and they have been treated like this Sick of seeing PJs supporters saying we can't judge him because of covid. Newsflash covid wasn't confined to Galway galwayfball (Galway) - Posts: 1704 - 19/10/2021 11:43:13 2386230 Link 4 |

We've been asleep for too long now. Players need a firm hand. I think PJ might be too "real" for some of them. Just because Scan is involved doesn't mean we aren't winning all Irelands. Peggy11 (Galway) - Posts: 84 - 19/10/2021 14:53:37 2386263 Link 1 |
Signing up one of the best coaches in the country is lack of respect for the players?

That's extremely generous to call him one of the best. If he was announced as manager, I'd have more hope. FallenStar (Galway) - Posts: 426 - 19/10/2021 15:10:37 2386270 Link 1 |
Agree.. I'd have him no 1 all day long ahead of the rest...
