Club put in a new drainage system and relaid the pitch, Pitch was closed for 18 months and only reopened last August.

Doubt it Ollie, Meath won't like Iniskeen, and also larger capacity.

but why were the rossies game and down and not there as well? would it be crowd capacity? i cant see there being much of a meath crowd going to head to Inniskeen unless theres something riding on the last match which good chance could be a dead rubber. very few from meath there last year in chamionship

Yeah it would be crowd capacity Dickie. A few of the Louth league matches in Ardee last year sold out.

Could, probably should ,have won. Too many scoring chances wasted. Craig Lennon was a major loss so early on. Great fight back. We have a lot to learn about the new rules. I believe we will. We don't give
up.
We need to win the next five to go up or two more to stay up.
Come on lads.

Ye are a good team but I don't think ye should have won that game. Bar the first 10 minutes and last 5 minutes, Ros were the better team. No doubt ye will pick up plenty of points to give yourselves a shot at promotion. Mulroy, Durnin and McKeever very good today, caused us plenty of problems

Roscommon a better team but we did have chances to get result with playing poorly at times. Mckeever excellent, Sam good in open play but missed some critical frees. We need a plan b for frees if Sam not on song with them or injured. Roscommon will probably win division. Cavan next up away, need a win especially after they lost their opening two games. Great crowd there yesterday, big Roscommon crowd in fairness. The sooner we get stadium in Dundalk built the better, standing on slippy grassy banks and walking through muck in 2025 at an inter county game is in the dark ages. In fairness Drogheda a better venue than Ardee in the interim.

FFS, Louth were shocking today. RC were full value for the win and 2 pts flattered Lourh. 1 -15 Louth were very poor. The Cavan game is a must win. Do not play young McDonnell in the middle, he is too young with not enough experience, one for the future. Sort your shit out quick.

It's impossible to judge Louth properly with the amount of players missing at the moment. We were without Ryan Burns, Dan Corcoran, Ciaran Keenan, and Conor Grimes yesterday. While in the squad overall we are without Anthony Williams, Bevan Duffy and Ciaran Byrne(presumably all injured). We are expecting players only out of U20 level to win us games against a team like Roscommon who are the best team in the division.

What's the general opinion of the new rules guys????I noticed half way through the 1st half Roscommon were on the attack just outside the 21yd line, both linesmen were up with the play and 1 of the Roscommon defenders jogged over the halfway line.....the Louth sideline started shouting up to him(he was to far away to hear),the umpires cudnt see either der to far away, the Louth player marking him didn't know if he should follow on not.....it's very hard to keep tabs on it,when the linesmen are up with play and the player crosses the halfway line by only afew yds......
