We're going fairly well considering we're missing 3 or 4 first team players.3 huge games left with 2 of them at home. Its in our own hands now.I thought we were poor enough in the first half and gave away too many soft frees to keep Carlow in the game.We seem to play much better in the second half of games for some reason and will need to sort that out.

Good to see they fixed them oul dodgy seats in the stand since I last was sitting in it.
Wasn't at a game since this oul online ticket craic. Decided to join the internet era anyway. Click, click, next, email, password, Eircode, Jocks size 34, PIN, back number, Checkout, Add to Google wallet, what is that, Google pay... what sure i paid already, Print... no printer..., back/forward, screenshot... yeah done.
Yer mans detector on the gate let a few beeps, squinked at me squares, shot some laser lights out of it. Pulled aside like going into Coppers years ago for being too malojen. Next thing another gosson took aim, beep, I got the all clear.
Toppin match. Jack Heslin was my man of the match... cut Carlow defence to shreds. Keith Beirne was class also. We were ropey in the first 20 minutes. Got to grips better in the second half. Could have conceded an early goal, dunno how that stayed out. Carlow looked average, they didn't have a forward target man like we have in Keith Beirne.
Wasn't at Wexford game but I guess we set up a bit more more defensive this time. We seemed to have a lot of men back at times not that I'm an expert on modern tactics. A win in Aughrim would be huge.

Excellent analysis of the new ticket system! Lot of head scratching at the gate.
Agree completely with Jack Heslin as MOTM. Keith Beirne was excellent as well.

Excellent victory on Sunday. I thought Shane Quinn was the standout player on the field by a distance and Plunkett and Beirne not far behind him.

Worrying that Prior has injured his hamstring once again. He gives us a great out ball and is a good foil for Beirne. Would be shocked if he was fit for the Wicklow game.
Jordan Reynolds also looks to have picked up a serious injury. Hopefully I'm wrong on that.

Whats remarkable is that a Leitrim team won a game by 15 points and were not overly impressive for long stretches of the game while missing Dolan, O'Rourke, Casey, McGloin who will all start in Gaelic Park if fit. I've been watching Leitrim a long time and that doesn't happen to often.

I have huge concerns over our half back line. Quinn is named at 6 but is acting as a sweeper which we will get in every division four game as teams will double up on Keith Beirne. But its that area in most games an no difference last weekend where we are conceding soft scores and or frees. Our Wing backs is an area Andy is going to have to look at.
From what I've heard most of our injured players will be back in for the next game apart from O'Rourke who could be another while yet.

On Carlow's discipline, I seen another poster saying that they thought Carlow's Red card for striking Mulligan was soft. They must have been in the old stand as anyone in the new stand could see how much of a cheap shot it was and that it caught Mulligan flush in the face. The rest of Carlow's Red Cards were just pure frustration and stupidity really. Was quite embarrassing to see an Inter-County team act like that. That stand was laughing at them by the end.

Good to see Barry McNulty kick a score. If he can work on his pace, I think he could be a player that sees a lot of action as the year goes on.

A word for Aidan Flynn by the way. I don't think many supporters who were at the Waterford game expected to see him again this year. A testament to him.

Very nervous about this weekend and about facing a Wicklow team on the back of a high after beating Laois.

Our attack has quite simply been awesome so far. When we attack at pace with Heslin, Beirne, Prior and Rooney they take some stopping. Hopefully they continue in the form they have shown so far.

What happened Pearce Dolan the last day out? Was he injured? Is he still injured? He has been our other stand out player this year IMO.

My only comfort is that I have been to Aughrim twice and we won both times. So hopefully Wicklow are a good team for us, and Aughrim is a happy hunting ground. But I really feel it's a 50/50 game with both teams very evenly matched.

If we win this then I fancy us in carrick to beat Laois and Sligo with a big home support.

Keep laughing my friend. Any team can have a bad day with performance & discipline. Are Leitrim not in Division 4 along with Carlow most years apart from the odd promotion?? Concentrate on getting promoted not laughing at a team self imploding on a particular day.

We're racking up decent scores thank god,the days of the 1-08 1-09 11/12/13 points per game seem to be gone,no doubt having an all star forward as a coach is a big help.If we could stop conceding soft dress at the back we'd be hard bet. There'll be nothing easy tomorrow in Aughrim and we need to hit the ground running from the throw in, we've been a second half team all year so far and that needs to change if we are to win tomorrow,we can't give Wicklow/Sligo or Laois a head start cause they'll punish us just like Wexford did.

Jeasus you're a fierce sensitive fellow... a bad day is getting one lad sent off.... three is embarrassing. I certainly would call it as it is if it happened to ourselves.

Today is a huge game, for all the talk of the final two games at home they will be dead rubbers for us if we lose today. We will need a full 70 minute performance to get a result as wicklow after a slow start are picking up in form and will be full of confidence after winning in portlaoise last weekend and like us they will be gone if they lose so the stakes are high, it feels like a knock out championship game this. I'm hoping we'll have a big following today the lads will need it. These three games are pivotal for this team and management but we need to take it one game at a time , winning today is vital for us or last two games will be just run outs for us. Best of luck to the lads and the ladies also.

Obviously huge game - but can we please stop with when we lose a game promotion is all over. It's just not true - wasn't true after Wexford loss despite some posters saying otherwise....... proof of that - we're top the following week !!

If we lose today - but beat Laois and Sligo at home...... then we will very likely be ahead of both those teams. However Wicklow and Wexford if they won out would both be ahead of us. Except that cant happen as they have to play each other next week!

So even with a loss today the next match vs Laois is far from a dead rubber.

Good luck to Leitrim today. It is huge because a win may give us that wriggle room. As I said elsewhere - I think there is a strong possibility NONE of the 5 teams ( Leitrim, Laois, Sligo, Wexford, Wicklow) win their last 3 matches.

It's not gone from Letirim yet. Was my first game to attend all year and it's backwards we have gone. How is this management team bringing on Mulligan ahead of the youth that's there
