look time will tell if its a good appointment or not.
we're not exactly able to pick and choose who wants to work with us so be grateful for what we have.

Did work previously with Moran and Solan number two."
That's what we've been told anyhow (that it worked). Maybe Solan had the good sence to call time, knew his time was up so to say. It will be a while before he's back in county management (if ever) and perhaps when all said and done, he'll come out the better for calling time. As for the other lad, we're stuck with him for the minute. The pressure is on now and we'll see what he's made of.

Are you a Roscommon man by any chance?

We know you're fairly easily pleased Joe but the rest of us who are bankrolling this would like to see results. Part of the problem we have in Leitrim, too many Joe's afraid to upset the apple cart.... poor auld Leitrim attidute.

Anyway let's see how it goes.

Two fine people"
No there's not but that wasn't my point tbh.

Solan had great success underage and nearly got the Mayo senior job. He had a better cv than Moran and likewise Graham has a better cv that was my point
But it seems a great appointment if it can work as him number two. Best of luck with it

Replying To Square_B:  "No team has any given right to anything but the goal absolutely has to be promotion. If it's not what are we bothering for otherwise? At this stage there really isn't any excuses, this team is good enough... it's been well discussed here about the management so we won't go over that again. I wouldn't disagree with the rest of your comments."
Yes I agree and our priorities havent changed promotion out of the basement of division 4.
Not an easy task and every team will fancy their chances against us and Pairc Sean has to become our fortress.
A run in Connacht is beyond us as we cant compete with the the Galways Rossies Mayos , unless Graham bringsin a rake of top class players with him. Tailtean Cup however if we can get a run going it would lighten up our summer.

The pitch in pairc sean is a disgrace, honestly id move inter semis and county finals to somewhere else. Its not fair on players ploughing around on that pitch in huge games

I'd agree about Pairc Sean but not sure where else you'd move them to... Ballinamore is out of action and Cloone isnt much better. Some remedial work is needed urgently before a new pitch is laid.

Mohill deserved it overall, I think they are too reliant on KB, good to see Jordan Reynolds back and hopefully his injury isn't too bad. Fenagh again to progress past the semi finals and the Mc Cormicks haven't really improved them.
Carrick result was never in doubt and seem to be the real deal and will take some beating

The pitch was a joke ,unless they improve it ,SOh resurfaced there pitch that would Be a better option, pity they can't have the final mid September ,cut the championship to 8 teams with 3 games and maybe 8 teams in div 1,that would free up more weeks,Fenagh had mohill on the ropes in the second half,a few soft ref and passing decision let mohill back into the game,SOH really put it up to st Mary's ,I think mohill will beat them in the final

How about drumshambo? Was talking to a bornacoola man In Carrick today he said they played in cloone yesterday and pitch in very good condition.

They should have finals in drumshanbo to, give teams the chance to play on a proper surface and not ruin finals by being played on a mud field

I've been made aware that NY started back training this weekend. Have ye started back yet? NY not weighed down by rural divides and muddy bog land of fields.

I'd say even if ye took us to the middle of Lough Melvin, we'd still triumph! Probably, even more than our last meet!

Drumshambo wouldn't work great pitch and facilities but parking isn't great. If pairc sean is unplayable ballinamore or cloone are the only real options. Not sure where ballinamore are at with their redevelopment of the pitch. Speaking to a few Bornacoola and aughavas supporters they said cloone pitch was in fantastic condition. It wouldn't be like Aughavas to praise cloone so it must be true.

If Pairc Sean is unplayable in September what's the plan when the National League starts in February?
