Replying To largeball:  "Jarlaths were very poor yesterday. Negative and lacked ideas, poorly coached. One Connacht title in over a decade not good enough with the talent available. Seems to be problems with coaching in the school."
Nothing to do with coaching .. but possibly a reality check needed in general . Tradition counts for nothing in these times . The school seems still to be hell bent on making it all about Gaelic football, this resonates with young lads and puts huge pressure on them in 5th and 6th year.. trying to live up to glory years! I mean ffs it's time a step back happened and make it enjoyable again..
I know one young player who has been sick with nerves and flu bugs since early December, he is a leaving cert student his whole life has been about football recently.

Attempting to win a Division 1 game with no forwards is an interesting strategy. O'Curraoin the only one in the 10-15 that is anywhere close to a finisher.
