Hard watch that match but better second half. As stated above Conroy was far and away our best man today, some servant to Galway football. A lot hinges on the draw but we'll give whoever we get a good rattle. LárBáire (Galway) - Posts: 43 - 22/06/2024 18:39:24 2553682 Link 1 |

Only team we have half a chance with is Donegal. Facts are facts, it's Dublin, Kerry then the rest.

The way the draw is falling with teams from the same group not playing each other, Dublin will be drawn to play us. galway19 (Galway) - Posts: 830 - 22/06/2024 19:45:47 2553720 Link 0 |
Definitely agree very poor especially first half if Galway were playing anyone else 2 day they be gone I know I'm repating myself but until Galway put forwards in forwards it won't change Darcy no score play Kelly same Mcdaid same tierney none from play they all good players bar tierney they not forwards and unfortunately it won't change now management had last 4 years to find abs develop forwards but failed big time ,, and it's hard see Galway scoring much more next day as players I've mentioned have not scored much all year it's not there fault they just not forwards ,,,

Think the Dubs can play Cork or Louth, Galway or Derry if they win. JahTribe (Galway) - Posts: 155 - 22/06/2024 20:18:29 2553738 Link 0 |
Derry and cork hopefully win.

John Maher and Jack Glynn stands out for me after conroy mcdaid stood up in 2nd half too. jm25 (Galway) - Posts: 1395 - 22/06/2024 21:27:19 2553784 Link 0 |
I know it suits us but a team that has lost 3 games should not still be able to win All Ireland.Makes mockery of whole thing. Also think it should be full open draw for quarter finals. Alwaysencourage (Galway) - Posts: 395 - 22/06/2024 21:35:07 2553788 Link 1 |
Paul is usually least effective on sunny hot days in Croker, which isn't our only concern heading into next weekend.

Why should it be an open draw? The group winners deserve to be kept appart.

Connacht football looking strong with ourselves and the Rossies still in it. Perhaps it's the fact the Euros are currently being played but I can't help but shake the feeling that Mayo, with their history of losing on the big day and now out on penos, are beginning to remind me of someone…. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 3143 - 22/06/2024 21:49:48 2553798 Link 0 |
They get advantage of extra week off to prepare and rest.
