Is there any local radio station stations doing it?"
I listen to Galway Bay FM for live commentary. Do they have radio in Derry that cover GAA?

Well spotted @rhudson. Good article. Haven't seen Derry this year. Interesting to hear that Gallagher has changed his coaching philosophy. Sign of a good coach.

Well done mgt and players. Promotion achieved. No Shane Walsh today although he was named. Imagine if we had a full panel (no Sean Mulkerrins, Peter Cooke or Michael Daly) but other guys putting their hand up.

A 4-11 to 0-12 win for Galway in Owenbeg to clinch promotion and maintain their 100% record despite no Shane Walsh in the line-up. Not a bad day's work!

Great win and worth the extra spend on diesel. I hope the Damo and Shane injuries are not too bad. I missed the Conroy red card as I was following Tomo who was clear on goal so not sure what happened.

Super win not just for Galway but for management in particular. I doubted if Joyce would back his panel by resting shane. Well done Joyce. Could be a turning point in this managements fortune and future. Beware Mayo!

Told you lads before round 1 that Galway would be promoted with a game to spare. Stay tuned for my prediction on how Galway will fare in the championship.

Tremendous stuff from Galway. That first half blitz in particular was awesome. Delighted for a team and management that have gone about their business with real intent from day 1 of this season - and in some style too. Roll on the long evenings and the hard sod - no doubt about it, these boys are clicking!! Up Galway!

Excellent performance. Made the journey home very short.

Hope Comer is OK. Huge player for us.

Conroy red card looked extremely harsh. Didn't think he did anything wrong. TV tonight may prove it either way

Next 2 games are an opportunity to get game time into some lads and mind others.

A lot of talk about Derry around the country before today. I think people will sit up and take notice of us now. Not that it matters, 24th of April is all that matters

On a side note, although I generally hate all the macho schmozzles I was happy that Galway stood up at the end when they had to.

The big test for Galway will be the Mayo game in April. Mayo brushed Galway aside in Croke park last year. Swatted them away with ease in the second half. Wouldn't expect that to happen this time.

Our footballers have scored the same as our hurlers in the league! Well 123 v 124 points. And our footballers are doing this with a ball that's almost 5 times the weight and multiple times the size of a slightly overweight tennis ball that a strong keeper can puc out to just in front of the full forward line at 100 mph or put over from 90+m out! Fair dues to our footballers - That's some shooting!

Cooke is coming back to play for Moycullen definitely. Spoke to someone from Moycullen at the Offaly game and they had it confirmed, they just aren't sure of his timeline of getting back in time to be part of Galway squad for Championship.
