In the last 13 seasons, Galway have beaten Kilkenny at Leinster Finals twice as often as Wexford have beaten KK at Leinster Finals. It's between us alright. Kk won 8 of those 13, Galway 3, and Dublin/Wexford just the one apiece. It's no wonder Kiltormer thinks we're going to win every year...... on paper!!

How many players do you have left who beat Kilkenny in a Leinster Final? 5? We have 10.

How many to we have that have played in an all Ireland final not to mind win one? Or played in more than one semi final in their careers? Or how many do Kilkenny have that have an all Ireland at this stage either? Both sides talking here is kinda embarrassing, who's the best loser it comes across as…we're all as far away from Cork and Limerick atm that this is the talk that's taking place…we're currently 28 years without getting to a final so I think we've enough on our plates without calling out other counties for underachieving in finals…we've been in 1 Leinster final in 18 years. We've both allowed a good but not great Kilkenny team to dominate Leinster the last 5 years, even if Galway have found different ways to loose 3 of those finals, at least they're getting to them…I wish that was our problem.

Your 6 years ago to our 7. Five is enough for us. 10 might be too many for ye!

Not even half way through the second half and it's getting embarrassing for Galway here. Not good enough at all. What are we at? Defending is shocking. I've seen better puck out strategy in U15 club games. And we can't create goal scoring oops to save our lives. Off putting stuff. Cork running riot.

Wouldn't be too worried. Not sure Donoghue had too much interest once we weren't relegated. Far too many wides in the first half. Joshua Ryan done well. Must have used near 40 players in the league now. Four weeks to get ready for Kilkenny.

5 of my preference starting forwards E Niland 0-07,C Whelan 0-03,C Mannion 0-04,C Cooney 0-03,J Flynn 0-01 =18pts out of our total 22pts tells its own story!

I agree with you but we've been in 4 Leinster finals in 18 years not 1. We've won one.

Your preference certainly speaks to the scale of forward talent that has emerged in Galway hurling since 2017.

Not so sure about that. We've won more than you at intercounty level.

Galway are known for producing fantastic hurlers who don't win things.

Not talking about club competitions of could.

Cork vs Galway: FACT-Cork are established and are the Finished Product as far as their team goes. They are a sure All Ireland candidate. FACT-Galway are a rebuilding team that will be LUCKY to get to 3rd in Leinster. Fact: Galway got destroyed by a superior team. No complaints from me!

Bate by 12 yet it was less than I originally thought.
Make it make sense. Genuinely if we don't beat Kilkenny in 3/4 weeks I fear for our summer ends in May!

That's true I'm afraid probably we are at our lowest in over 20 years.

There are lads on panel 5 plus yrs and arnt good enough to start but still good enough for panel

I find it hard to justify starting niland don't think he touched ball in play in first 30 minutes

I sometimes think Flynn should get a run of games in FF line he has loads of talent but seems quite fragile when things go wrong.

Last night was no surprise Cork are way down road and between them and limerick you'd except them to share all Irelands over next 4 5 years.

I got flashbacks of 2021 u17 and u20 all Ireland's one weekend where cork massacred us in both

100% Cork are probably the most polished team in Ireland right now.

Galway may be rebuilding but I think you'll be very good this year. I expect you'll definitely be in Leinster's top 3.

Name a 'fantastic' Galway hurler who didn't win a thing?

Looking forward to the Leinster u20 campaign getting underway next weekend. Should be getting off to a comfortable start against Laois and then the Offaly game the following week will give a good marker as very likely we will end up playing them again in a Leinster final if all goes to plan. Very strong squad this year.
