And they seemed in trouble in the county championship! I knew that was just a blip, as they still have some mighty paint at their disposal.

Still, I'd prefer to see someone else win it.

Austin Stacks won the club championship so at the moment they're in pole position to represent the County, but if a club team win the County championship (which looks likely now then theyll represent Kerry.

Now Stacks beat East Kerry last weekend who were the favourites, but for me it looks like everything is falling into place for the Crokes.

From what iv seen Stacks are the best club team in the County at the minute but the crazy thing is that it doesn't mean they'll represent the County.

The Crokes will probably win it now.

I hope you're right Chicago and Crokes don't win it but I fear they might.

Horse and the hermit have moved to the Kerry Gaa forum, we nearly all moved over there after our forum was closed down on here and we were given a warm welcome, we're all posting under the same names, you should join up.

Yea surprisingly Dingle were well beaten by Rahillys but then again they have the players if they can put it together. Dingle have been disappointing this year thought they were better maybe too many Geaneys playing. Crokes had an easy win ye guys might be right although Templenoe are poor enough this year. Should be interesting simi finals though should be close games. Did anyone watch the dublin games yesterday st. judes had like three or four Kerrymen playing. I watched Jack maguire at full back and played ok and young Pat Spillane really has bulked up and scored a few nice points from midfield hope jack was watching.

Ya we were bate well and iv no complaints (except for the reffs whistle) it wasn't a dirty game by any manner but Mulvihill couldn't stop whistling.

Rahillys were well wort their victory and I hope they go on to win it now although they got the Crokes in the semifinal for their sins so that's. Probably that.

Hopefully they can beat the Crokes and setup an all Tralee final.

Ya I saw a picture of young Pat and he's bulked out a lot since I last saw him, I heard Mannix from Austin Stacks and Maguire from listowel were also involved.

Surprised at the size of a pick that St. Brendan's have; some navigation there!

I mean two Tralee clubs, plus a cohort of outlying areas.

What's being done right on Strand Rd., that it seems isn't being done a short distance up the street in Boherbue? Or just an even shorter distance away, above in Na Gaeil (don't they have 2~3 county men)?

I mean, do KOR not feel that the dice is heavily loaded against them? Stacks could feel likewise, too!

Ya it's the system we have in Kerry and everyone gets on with it really.

There is a chance that Na Gaeil will beat Beaufort in the intermediate final in a few weeks which will mean they'll go senior and then St Brendans will become a lot weaker next year.

On the other hand Crokes or Legion will be religated and will join up with an all ready very strong East Kerry, now that could be a bigger problem.

Castle Gregory beat Firies 3:17 to 0:12 in today's county junior final.

Well done Castle.

Hi Forever. Yeah St Brendan have a massive pick but sometimes it's harder amalgamation teams gel. The Kerry system has its flaws but it gives every player even in division 5 a chance of playing county championship. Also if a club that's playing with an amalgamation become strong they go senior and play as their own club in championship. Sad to see John Mitchell's not senior with their history but the Rahillys are strong. You are correct too about Na Gaeil. Your knowledge of the Kerry scene never ceases to amaze me Forever.

If this was a club game in Ulster there'd be some noise out of Spillane, they needn't be talking about defensive Ulster football anymore that's for sure. Standard of play here is very poor too.

Terrible standard of football. Andrew Barry probably the best player on view.
That said a penalty shoot-out is no way to decide the outcome of Gaelic games.

Stacks are an ultra defensive side, terrible to watch. Tomorrow's game between Crokes and Rahillys will be much more attacking and free flowing. Honestly I hope Stacks don't win it out. I'd like to see Rahillys do it now.

It wasn't a great game but it was intriguing all the same, RTÉ would have been better off going for the Rahillys v Crokes game.
