'In my brief time' and 'cant be taken seriously' . Is there an exam or a test for that to change that opinion? Or is this just an exclusive club?

Not at all just fairly obvious alot of your posts are just about getting a reaction out of people.

Just because you don't agree with my opinions or like the fact I may have bit more knowledge on certain agenda's than yourself Wexico, doesn't mean 'alot of my posts are just about getting a reaction out of people'. Unfortunate you feel that way.

Great result today! I know it's only the O Byrne Cup but it's nice to see the lads working goal opportunities and taking them.

Yeah have to be pleased, taught KOG and Brosnan were very sharp and Liam Coleman was very good, think every outfield sub got a run in the 2nd half, Laois were terrible but taught we looked very fit, bigger crowd than I expected, people just mad to get to a game after xmas.

great start to the year, lot of promise for the future, was impressed with liam o conner, darragh lyons dean o toole and very impressed with rian fitzpatrick i said it before the future is bright, we are not going to win anything but we are building a team to compeat again, in fairness to roche he has put a very professional back room team in place

Hugely encouraging start and optimism abounds. Nevermind figuring out the last time Wexford scored six goals in one game- I'd say it's the first time three different players scored a brace each.

Bearing in mind too we were missing perhaps our three best defenders (Sheehan, O'Connor and Furlong), our best wing-back (Glen Malone) and maybe two modern greats depending on their commitment (Daithi and Malone), among others, you can't help but be encouraged by what's in store. That Laois side wasn't any more experimental than our own, and had many household names on show, although I think their manager is a disaster waiting to happen.

But we play an attacking brand of football, which is a start. We have two young lads starting for DCU's Sigerson side which is pretty much unprecedented since they became the Man City of colleges foootball. The work at underage level is starting to bear fruit, with three teenagers on the panel at the moment, including Fitzpatrick who featured yesterday (I realise I am vocal about giving young lads too many commitments).

We won't win the All-Ireland, or even Leinster (I really hope I am wrong), but talking to people in the camp, this Tailteann Cup looks to be the ideal tournament for the likes of us and is a realistic shot at some silverware.

Not sure what your point is there SMR. Theres around 50 other clubs in the county not represented apart from Taghmon, Horeswood and Clongeen.

my point its a sad sign of the decline in what would have been 3 consistant feeder teams for the county team in the past 40 years

Three average Inter teams at present sadly. Would you find it strange however that Adamstown who are a grade below Inter have three players on the panel? And they couldn't beat Cloughbawn last year?
