Tyrone are going to do exactly what their 03 team did to us which is tare into us with savage intensity and give our players no time on the ball but I think we might try and do the same to Tyrone so it could get a bit crazy. Like I said I'm my first post we have the worst defense of the 4 teams left and everyone knows we're clane open down the middle so Tyrone will get the goal chances but will they take them is the question. I don't like to see any one team dominate the scene, so I'm not too enamored to see the big blue bulldozer bury all before it. Tyrone have had a good campaign and can be very proud of winning the Anglo celt, but that'll be about as good as it gets. I fancy Kerry to win by 8+ points and can see the Tyrone keeper dropping a big clanger in the game. Dublin, if they get past Mayo on their current slight dip in form, will in my view be back on song for the final, but there is a v small chink in their armour for the next week or so. But Kerry are a team on form right now. I probably will watch it; but there is no chance whatsoever of Tyrone winning this, and I'm not at all optimistic that we'll even make a game of it. It took them some grafting to get the attendance bumped from 18,000 to 24,000 and then to take all that away by ensuring the 24,000 will now be between 4 counties and many other neutrals who will want to see a novel U20 final pairing between Offaly and Roscommon/Down along with the small matter of the Semi afterwards, which effectively means it will be almost mission impossible for Kerry and Tyrone supporters to get tickets from public sale (if they even go on sale publicly). I'm absolutely furious by this decision, that final could have been easily played in Cavan or Clones with a very respectable capacity set and have those 24,000 tickets exclusively for the Semi Final. Without going over a comment on a previous board, Kerry's previous record in selling tickets for All Ireland semi final's rightly or wrongly has likely been considered in making the decision to play the U20 final beforehand. Realistically will Kerry bring more than three or four thousand to this game? Tyrone will likely bring around 10 - 15 thousand, more likely closer to 10 than 15. That would leave around eight to ten thousand for the two U20 finalists, tickets they'll sell. I predict there will be more tickets sold in Offaly than Kerry for this game, and that will probably be the same in Roscommon or Down as well. I understand why Kerry don't bring thousands to semi final's but with their previous record the GAA might not have sold 24000 tickets if it was left to just Kerry and Tyrone with a few neutrals. I sincerely hope that GAA is not going to compound the snub to county pass and season ticket holders by throwing the next games open to on line free for all. Kerry by 6+. This Tyrone side are a pale shadow of previous ones. They aren't direct enough, are ponderous and prone to losing possession at times. Kerry have better, and more dangerous, players.
