Gutted but can't really complain. Tyrone just about deserved it. The first half didn't really feel like an ulster final. We seemed over coached or something there was no intensity to our game and tyrone could been further ahead at half Time. Second half we were excellent in 3rd quarter however turning point was tyrone shuffling out mccarthy trying to go through for goal. Tyrone settled after that got back into 3 pt lead and despite beggans efforts along with Boyle and Duffy points never really looked like getting level. Poor decision making at vital times cost us and to be fair tyrone defending similar to 2018 won it for them totally closed out our inside line. They had just that wee bit more composure and got their scores a little easier and vitally for them were never behind. It's a familiar tale whenever we play them.

Good to see you living up to your name.... Kerry won't like facing Tyrone, this Kerry team haven't got over the line to an all Ireland yet, until they do they are overhyped, this year may be the year they do it, but it's hard to look past dubs

That great Monaghan team of the mid 1980,s overcame Tyrone in two bruising encounters 1985 nfl semi final reply and 1988 Ulster final and they also stole 1985 ulster semi final against Armagh after a replay. They just had that little extra then. Tyrone have come out on the right side over the last few years because they have a better panel of players. The first half of the 2019 all Ireland semifinal would be a great encouragement to Tyrone moving forward. They give Kerry plenty of problems.

Sums up the game well, I was half looking forward to an extra 20 minutes.

Your obviously not a supporter of Ulster football. Well that was a great football match by two very good teams. Whoever wins in Ulster always gets my support as they progress.

I don't think it was a great game quality wise., but exciting finish. A few good individual performance from McCurry,McCarron, Mattie Donnelly..but a lot of poor handling and shooting too.
Tyrone a bit more composed

good game, really enjoyed it, had 50e on monaghan, they have good forwards but it was the scores they missed cost them

Correct. Had Monaghan won yesterday, and they easily could have, I'd have been shouting for Monaghan til I was hoarse. I have always supported every Ulster team once out of Ulster. Whatever happens in Ulster stays in Ulster! Incidentally, a poster spoke about Beggan's "antics" , that's nonsense, both goalies contributed on the field yesterday, and are well capable (with a fly goalie). Beggan is top class. V interesting development and increasingly could be a feature of the game.

Well done Tyrone and I will defiantly be cheering you on in the Semi final and hopefully final.
we made a great comeback but could not get our noses in front. Tyrone deserved there win especially with the few key lads you were missing.
Best of luck in the semi final lads.

Nonsense! Morgan got embarrassed by Kerry in the League humiliation and when a keeper gets badly caught out in a Championship game then coaches will put a stop to nonsensical 'fly' keepers.

Will McManus hang up the boots now? He seems to get a head injury every game it may be time to pack it it in head injuries are a big talking point in other sports at the moment and the long term health effects.

There will be at least 3 or 4 to go from the Monaghan panel but McManus will not be one of them.
One more year with no league games and that will be it.

he doesn't really, he gets fouled and holds his head. He did it against Armagh & Tyrone. Some call it "buying a free" others call it cheating.

He will be fine for next year. And good luck to him.

Lol I had a laugh at that. But you are spot on he constantly goes down holding his head when tackled. I counted 4 monaghan players all hit on the arm or chest but went down holding their heads. Never called out on any of the analysis.
