Long way to go. Tyrone should be out of sight but aren't. McCarron looks dangerous. Goal changing everything

Fair enough

Great Ulster Final. Hard Luck Monaghan. Ye gave it everything in that second half. Well done Tyrone.

Lost it in the first half obviously.

Good tight game could have gone either way. But you have to be realistic here. Both teams are quite some way off Kerry's standard. If the winner of Ulster was to have a chance v Kerry, they would need to have won convincingly today. For instance, Tyrone would need to have been as dominant in the second half as they were in the first. They weren't able to do that, and, while it was a good tight game, you have to be very worried about the semi final. Unless there's a miracle, Kerry by a bagful.

Decent final and fair play to both teams. Even with the excitement and only a point in it at the end, I never thought Tyrone would lose it, as expected their subs made a bigger impact on the game and they had the extra quality and know how in key moments; Tyrone are becoming difficult to beat over 75 or so minutes.

Monaghan's heart and will to fight was amazing to watch as was some of their scores and tackling; I'm sure there is a lot of pride in Monaghan tonight.

However whilst I think Monaghan were probably at their peak, Tyrone look a team who are going to get better and there is another few gears in them. They did what they had to in this match, I expect a big performance from them in two weeks, although I doubt that'll be enough to beat Kerry, but that is for another day.

A very enjoyable Ulster Championship!

Congrats to Tyrone and hats off to Monaghan for a very gallant effort. An enjoyable game helped by both keepers.

Yeah can't see anything but a big kerry win. My aim for tyrone this year was to win ulster. They just about done that. Good base next year for tyrone. Kerry v Dublin final

Tyrone's first half won it for them and were relatively poor in the second. Monaghan put it up to them but should have passed to man in better position for their last attack and could have drawn it up.
Tyrone are still short of Kerry though and will have to play for 75 minutes to keep it any way competitive.

Well done Tyrone. Congrats. Brilliant third quarter from Monaghan to bring them back into it. As already said, the first half was where they lost it . Beggan had a great second half. Can't see Tyrone troubling Kerry but deserved Ulster champions. Best team in Ulster this year.

Some sloppy decision making cost Monaghan in late moments there but showed great heart and determination to claw their way back into that game. Unlucky and not easy given the few weeks they have had.

Tyrone picked up from where they left off against Donegal with accurate shooting from distance in the first half. Second half they looked rattled for long spells and just about got going but they surprised me in how they nearly surrendered that game. On the basis of that it's very hard to see them beat Kerry. On the plus side for them they know that a repeat of today and they're gone. They have enough good players to threaten Kerry if everything goes right for them on the day but it's a stretch for me.

Where was Fergal Logan today? Dooher more than capable of handling any threat situation.

Really enjoyable game, congrats Tyrone. It really was a game of two halves, Tyrone looked slick in the first half but Monaghan made a great second half comeback. Monaghan just took a few rash shot choices in the closing minutes. It's been a good Ulster championship but hard to know where the Ulster teams are at. I think Tyrone can give Kerry a run for their money.

Hard luck to Monaghan, they are going in the right direction.

Enjoyed the game as I'm sure the neutrals did. Well done to this group getting over the line in Ulster final. Wouldn't be so quick to write Tyrone off against Kerry in All Ireland semi final. A lot to work on over the next two weeks but I do expect more of the first half and lessons learnt from this Tyrone side against the Kingdom

Good match to watch if you were a neutral but heart stopping as a Tyrone fan. Thought in real time it was a foul tackle by keeper on Mattie Donnelly and going by some still photos he pulled his arm away. No harm done anyway. Done well to hang on and wouldn't have minded extra time.

Tyrone played as bad as they did against Cavan and were very lucky to win. Beggan's 'antics', I think distracted Monaghan and if they had have concentrated and played to their obvious strengths they could have won.

Tyrone made some awful mistakes, they still haven't a free taker beyond 30 yards which is mind boggling, they still haven't a strong midfield and their handling was atrocious.

The only thing that can beat Kerry is complacency.

Tyrone have a good strong team this year and a good league and no injuries will see them give Sam a good rattle next year.

Come on Tyrone!!!!!

Tyrone had a COVID outbreak.

Logan was isolating along with McCann, Burns, Brennan, Richie Donnelly. 4 starters gone. The players had to travel in individual cars by themselves. Not ideal

The bench was very thin.

Great game and great advert for Ulster football, Clones would have suited Monaghan better, great performance by Tyrone considering the covid outbreak, Monaghan deserved a daw I think but it just wasn't to be, really enjoyed that game. well done Tyrone and good luck against Kerry,
Kerry will be favs but they won't like facing Tyrone, if Tyrone have a full panel available they'll give Kerry there fill of it.
