unproven at this level though. Higher risk than Gilroy if he were available

All the names are flying around alright, Dessie is the favorite. Wouldn't be his biggest fan as a manager hes a bit open and naive defensively more me and a bit rigid in sticking to that philosophy, his teams are easy o the eye though, but tend to have a soft center.

Clarky, Jayo and Darcy mentioned. I think Darcy and Jayo will go, they have put in huge shifts. Clarky will stay involved i think.

Id be a fan of Pat Gilroy and he might feel he has unfinished business with the footballlers and hes well got in the DCB, iit will be more to do with circumstances away from the game.

A name i haven't seen mentioned much is Tommy Conroy and we might go full Vincents, stranger things.

Massive shoes to fill, but we will be there and back who ever.

Mourinho or Pep, they always go to the teams with the most money.

Promote from within. Jason Sherlock, he knows the system,he knows the players. that would be my uneducated opinion.
Now there might be reasons that disqualify him but i wouldn't know , some of you Dubs might

Surprised that Clarkey got it tbh...
Must had received a major reference from Jim.

Is that confirmed? Also a bit surprised at that. Don't think Clarkey has ever managed any side. He was part of Pillar's management team and only hooked up with Jim last year I thought. Has he ever headed a senior club team or underage IC? I didn't think so but could be wrong. I wonder was Dessie offered it and turned it down or else maybe Gavin did a Ferguson->Moyes on it and gave him an outstanding reference.

Very strong rumours.
Sceptical myself if it is the case

Seems the bookies have suspended betting, with Conroy the strong favourite now. Very surprised at that, I have to say.
He did win a club All-Ireland with Vincent's a few years ago, but I didn't think he was a legitimate contender.
