Enjoy the retirement! Well deserved and a massive servant to Dublin (from an amazingly good-at-Gaelic-fotoball family). Great that he won 7. shoulderghost (Limerick) - Posts: 863 - 24/10/2019 16:29:44 2245517 Link 2 |
Legend. From 2010 to 2013 he was the man. fingalman (Dublin) - Posts: 233 - 24/10/2019 16:30:57 2245518 Link 0 |
There was retirement thread for Brick Walsh on here the other day, you must've been rolling on the floor at that one. Hilarious.

An absolutely exceptional player. A pity he was dropped for the final. It must have hurt deeply. neverright (Roscommon) - Posts: 1648 - 24/10/2019 17:22:40 2245531 Link 0 |

Fair point, no issue at all with the retirement threads its the Dublin centric one's I was talking about like the tadhg kennelly comments, as I said a few self obsorbed Dublin posters are guilty of it why not put that up on your own page?

A hell of a player and what a record he has, 7 All Ireland's, like the way he retired in the off season too, no big fuss about it, really enjoyed those 2 goals he got in the final a few years ago. best wishes on his retirement, I'm sure we haven't heard the last of him yet, I thought he deserved a run out in the replayed final this year. "no issue at all with retirement threads" Except it's only this one you have an issue with? Right so. Anyone can start up a thread and post it if the moderators allow it then what's the issue? Take it up with them and don't let silly things annoy you so easily. Dubsfan28 (Dublin) - Posts: 2509 - 24/10/2019 23:58:17 2245611 Link 5 |
We all know he got his accuracy from the Mayo side of his family. ;) In fairness, he came from great stock. He was undoubtedly the best inside forward in the game for a number of years and performed brilliantly on the big days. A great ambassador for the GAA on and off the pitch. His Turkey Twizzlers were the stuff of legends. Was never the same man since Jamie Oliver started his campaign against him. Offside_Rule (Antrim) - Posts: 4058 - 25/10/2019 09:11:32 2245638 Link 0 |
