Kerry v Dublin, All Ireland final 2015

Like I know we are away from home

Not according to Walsh after the Kerry v Tyrone semi final: 'But we like to back ourselves. We are the champs and we were coming up here to our home patch. We're delighted to be in an another All-Ireland final'.

Croke Park is in Dublin and is their home venue, they have played there 11 times comparing to our 2 games there. Also, we only got 14,000 tickets so we will be completely drowned out in terms of influencing refereering decisions.

Agreed Croi, sure we have more right to call Croker our home than anyone!

Sure wasn't it the money made on the back of Kerry's celebrated Croke Memorial Cup victory in 1913 that allowed the GAA to buy Jones Road!

Really looking forward to this one, both teams are capable of producing a cracker although it may be better for Kerry if they tighten things up a bit, going man for man with Dublin isn't a great idea. I just have a feeling that Dublin will pull away in the last 10-15 minutes and will win out by 4pts+

I said it my initial review of this game, on this thread, that the psychological edge since 2011 is now with Dublin. I wrote that 'Kerry would be more worried about Dublin than Dublin about Kerry' and the Kerry team selection reinforces that viewpoint. A worried Kerry made changes but rest assured Jim Gavin will name the same 15 barring a confirmed injury to Cian O'Sullivan.

In fairness to Fitzmaurice, he simply had to make changes to the glaring weaknesses in his defence that have been there all season. Particularly with all out marauding Dublin attack who love to run the ball coming down the tracks at them

I'm hearing and reading that Marc O'Se is injured but if that were true there is no way he would be named on a substitute bench! To make such a claim is to accuse Fitzmaurice of being negligent of his responsibilities and we know that is not case. No manager in an All Ireland final these days would hurt their panel by naming an injured player on the bench and to suggest otherwise is simply ridiculous.

I see the Sunday Games facebook has put up a short video of the 2011 final for their all Ireland moments.

Just watched it there again, god still feel sick about how we let it slip from us but sure it was our own fault for not pressing home the advantage while we had it, and what a way to win an All Ireland it must have been for the Dubs.

There's a lovely (and extremely rare) interview with Maurice Fitz in the Times today, what a man!!!

Love the line about Maurice F that he could skelp anyone without risk of a red card. And there you have it, Gavin and EF will send out Cluxton & Gooch to decapitate a few. GAA? Marvellous, all told.

I don't agree entirely with the ABC1234 poster but he may be still right about the outcome og tomorrow's game but here are some facts to browse over when Dublin and Kerry encountered each other on route to the Sam since 1955.

As I suggested the Dublin selection shows no changes! Who wants the lotto numbers? ;-))

The RSA v Japan game just goes to show you the underdog can sometimes come out on top! There's hope for us yet.

I Watched the Kerry Squad have a kick about earlier this evening and O'Shea certainly didn't look injured to me what so ever.

The dubs on up for the match just booed a 16 year old Kerry girl what a sporting crowed they are , god help our minors tomorrow .

Well folks, this is a tough nut to crack. I feel if the dubs hit form there'll only be one winner, but hunger wont be a problem for kerry once they see that blue jersey and those recent beatings in championship from them. Kerry are without doubt capable of turning them over but its a huge ask if the dubs get moving. Dubs by 3.

He was dropped because he is 35 and Fitzmaurice doesn't trust him for the match-ups, he'll be on if they're struggling.

Firstly best wishes to both teams and supporters today. All ire final day is a special day , so enjoy it.
As for the match itself, there is a niggling feeling that Dublin haven't played to their full potential yet and today could be the day.
Kerry i feel will need a goal or two to win it and with dubs no1 that is highly possible.
Again best wishes to all. I think dubs by 4 but it could be the other way. Really looking forward to it.
