Semi-finals are about getting through. Dr Crokes will be relieved.

The Club Championship is ten times more interesting then than inter county. If Kerry play Waterford in football they probably win by close to 20 points, yet Rathgormack can push Dr Crokes all the way, same with Tullamore giving Cuala a good battle. Pity there couldn't be some sort of Sunday game style evening programme on RTÉ during the provincial club championships.

4 Interesting finals coming up Loughmore and Ardee put in very good performances over the weekend so can't be written off and any team that has the two Canavan's stand a chance of winning any match. So looking forward to these games but obviously weather can play a big factor in these games."
I agree. It would be great to have a Sunday Game style highlights of the club championships when it gets to the provincial stage. It should be key in raising the profile of the games more. The media actually want the higher profile as well so more people are interested."]Semi-Finak Predictions
Kilcoo v Dr. Crokes
Ardee v Padraig Pearses.

A lot of interest in all things football which goes to show it's not as bad as some people waffle on about. The only negative I have is that the more success some club teams have the less player welfare we have for the county men on these teams. It's a 12 month playing year for these lads now. Great for us though.

Club players should be able to rest for the first half of the Allianz League. Hurling has that luxury. Football players not so lucky since league got linked to championship.

The Leinster and Connacht Provincial Club finals this weekend. Cuala are expected to beat St Mary's Ardee and Padraig Pearses are expected to see off Coolera-Strandhill. The winners will meet in the semi-finals.

Ardee have a fighting chance in this one. I fancy them for it.

There's money to be made on Ardee St Mary's beating Cuala. 3/1 odds for the Louth men seems like good value to me. Donal McKenny to lock up Con and probably pick up man of the match would be my prediction!

"Cuala are expected to beat St Mary's Ardee". Who's "expecting" Cuala to win? And please save yourself the embarrassment of saying " the bookies"

Dublin clubs have dominated the Leinster Club championship. Ardee St Mary's could cause an upset though. They have a few county players.

3/1 is good value compared to 4/11 Cuala which is no value.

Still fancy Cuala just about on basis of winning much higher standard county- nó offence to Louth - and tougher Leinster route.

That's it really. Most accept the Dublin champions are the team to beat. They've had good challenges from Naas and Tullamore. Ardee have the players to cause an upset though. Let's see later!

Ardee left themselves with too much to do after a disappointing first half. Fair play to them for getting back into the contest. Cuala march on. The Connacht winners will be next up for them in the new year.

As I write this Cuala have just about got over the line by the skin of their teeth! I'll ask you again! Who are the people that you refer to as "Most accept"!?

Padraig pearses (after they dispatch coolera/1strandhill tomorrow) will beat Cuala with a hell of a lot to spare. Connacht club is strongest IMO. Cuala haven't met a team like pearses yet. Can't see crokes or Ulster topping them either

It's pearses to lose IMO they are the best

Maybe you should consider changing your name to Pádraigpearses4sndymerrigan?

Presuming Pearses get the Connacht title tomorrow and while they are strong favourites, I wouldn't bank on it and Cuala this evening won a game by a single point, a game they should have won by 10, will give whatever team they play next, enough of it.

How Cuala only fell over the line bt 1pt is bonkers.

They butchered at least 3 one on one goal chances.

Conceding 2 goals in a minute was criminal tbh.

Fair play to Ardee for coming back for the dead 1-06 to no score, but Cuala will be kicking themselves for letting them back into it at all.
As for the Black Card decision......

Not sure Cuala will get to or even win the AI Club Final, but I am delighted there now is a Dublin & Leinster SFC Club medal for Cuala, and Mick Fitz especially.

Cuala and the Connacht winners have a 5 week gap to their semi final. Not ideal for keeping momentum.

Well it didn't take them long to lose it, LOL

Fair play to Coolera/Strandhill! I wasn't expecting that. If there was a shock this weekend, thought Ardee might have pulled it off. Looking like a Cuala v Kilcoo final. I wouldn't rule out Errigal Ciaran though.
