Yeah, adding "you started it" to the county bashing is real big boy stuff.

Agreed.

Hate the way they sell tickets too. They release all the worse seats first and then gradually add in the good seats closer to the match.

If you are first online and keen to buy early you should be able to buy a decent seat somewhere close to the middle of the stands. I know loads are given to clubs first up but not a great system and puts early buyers in a stick or twist situation.

I don't see Saturday getting over 60K.
Sunday will be 70k+

I can understand a couple of Monaghan posters coming on here this week to discuss the match. A couple have been here before for no good reason, so I ignored them. If complaining about autographs and selfie hunters is all they can complain about, our supporters have had 8 games so far to get their autographs unlike Monaghans 4. As for the posters from random counties to come on here to give abuse, they should all be ignored completely this week.

Anyway, putting all the stuff we can't control to one side, the thing we can control is the match on Saturday evening. And I think we will control it. I know there was only a couple of points in it the last day, but I think we had another gear that day if we needed it. I think we have a few new men coming into form since then. Caolan McColgan along with Peadar Mogan and Ciaran Moore have the raw speed to open up the Monaghan defence. Farrah showed on Sunday that he's back in the groove. I don't even need to mention what Murphy is capable of doing in this game. Its not going to simple, Monaghan will bring a game plan, but I think we will have a better one. Sin é.

Yeah this craic of only offering seats in the corners, or high up in the rafters is a joke. Once you've joined the top of the queue, you should have preference to pick whatever is available. Obviously some of the middle section seats should be for club members, and rightly so. But there has to be some better way of doing this. You could waste half a day or more waiting for something presentable to appear.

Let's not even get started on the Oasis tickets money gouging

A lot of Caaaavan and Monaghan people giving Donegal stick, Caaaaavan wouldn't know where Croke Park is and the Monaghan supporters are more overjoyed when the Croke Park tannoy plays the silage song than supporting their team.

Haha so it's begrudgery when people are just pointing out the facts that you've become the biggest moaning county that's laughable !

Looking ahead to Monaghan this weekend I think that Donegal are in a really good place. McCole, Roarty, Mogan, Moore, Murphy, mccolgan, Langan, MCFadden, conor and Shane O'Donnell, Thompson have all been very consistent in the championship particularly in the last 3 games. Add in Gallen and O'Baoill returning with big impacts last weekend and the news that Caolan McGonagle might be an inclusion in the squad this weekend. It doesn't matter that it's Monaghan or anyone else in the qf, it's now about being good enough or not, no more second chances or games against teams at a lower level. It's the top 8 teams in the country and all will feel they can make a semi final. If we perform for 70 minutes I believe w are good enough to beat any of the remaining teams. A performance like the tyrone game will see us out on Saturday evening.

I always have huge respect for Monaghan teams and this team are no exception and I'm sure they'll be delighted to get another crack at us. It will need a good Donegal performance for us to prevail.

I wonder will they play "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" Lockjaw? I know a certain county they could dedicate it to :)

You're right about TM though an absolute farce to deal with it, either online or on their app. And they charge a significant amount for that honour too

Even funnier that you've made this up and posters from your own county and others still involved in the championship are tired of all the whinging

I was merely stating fact, twist it to whatever way makes you feel better about Cavan's dismal last 3 displays but it's there in black and white for everyone to see.

A lot been talked about the curtain raiser. What about the big Dublin/Tyrone match. A throwback to the late 2000's when both sides served up classic encounters.
A lot have changed in both counties since then. Difficult to call. Tyrone were impressive in dispatching Donegal. Dublin played well against Galway.
Dublin, I feel do not have enough quality. However it would not surprise me to see it going the distance and the dreaded penalty shootout.

Indeed both main matches this weekend will be intriguing .
