How do you know they were medically unfit. We're you the team doctor. Not being awkward but you stated managers played players who were not 100 % fit yet when I gave you an example ie Conor o donnell you change it to suit your own agenda.. be fair lad and don't be making up accusations..

Ryan Bradley usually started and went off at half time, Christy Toye often came on in the second half.

Some journey as others have said and it's very very enjoyable been back amongst the contenders - very noticeable uplift in interest among the youth again - donegal jersey everywhere now rather than the traditional soccer teams in the uk. eunans4ever (Donegal) - Posts: 1695 - 02/07/2024 12:45:29 2556490 Link 0 |
Jim said he expects him to be involved in the semi final... However, he also named him in the 26 last weekend when he wasn't fit so I don't think we'll know the answer until they run out into the field in Croke Park

Super outfit Donegal. Good luck in the next round. Genuinely hope you's win Sam this year. Shearer (Louth) - Posts: 903 - 02/07/2024 13:30:27 2556510 Link 6 |
Welcome back. You still didn't answer my question about Patton. I don't go away. Stop hiding when the question doesn't suit. Lol

Completely agree. Strike when the iron is hot. You never know what's down the line, whether it be injuries, suspensions, lads emigrating, finance issues etc. This craic about teams being in year 2 or 3 in development or whatever, is a bit spoofy if you ask me. The great man cuts through all that nonsense, and he made reference to it in his speech after the Ulster final. We are going after this trophy hammer and tongs and year 2 or 3 be damned. We can worry about 2025 another day. Galway obviously need to be respected but certainly not feared. There is no reason we should not be confident that we can take them out as well and whomever is in the final. If we don't, well it has been a seismic improvement and we can learn from it. We don't know for aure what Jim is doing with Jason. He obviously wasn't fit on Sunday. But Jim still saw fit to have him in the 26. I expect that he was there in case Plan A, Plan B and probably Plan C didn't work. Remember Jim bringing a half fit Michael Murphy on after 27 minutes of the 2011 quarter final. The net result was that the Kildare defence all had to pay him due attention, take a step off their own men, allowing a young Patrick and Colm Anthony an extra yard of space in front. I suspect that is why Jason was in the 26, if we needed to get Louth to take a backward step.

As I have already said Conor just needs match sharpness. I know your a bit slow on the pick up his injury has cleared up.

Can see the point you're making, but don't see that as an issue. The few men that could fit that category are there for a reason, and have either struggled with injury, or haven't fit the profile of player that Jim has required in his matches so far. Yes, the Clare game provided the opportunity for McGuinness to involve Conor O'Donnell, Hugh McFadden, and Stephen McMeniman for the first time this championship campaign, but do you really think that they will not help the team in the 1 or 2 games remaining? Specifically, as you've mentioned, McFadden has now played two in a row, he brings experience with him and will play in any position from 1-15 if needed. Thankfully it has ,great to see him getting a run of matches, huge potential the lad . Just shows even playing junior football doesn't hinder you. If you're good enough it doesn't matter what grade you play. How many more jewels could be out there.?

Yep was on Ticketmaster as 15.00 and there was a queue and quite a demand. The upper Cusack and what they had on sale in the lower Cusack are sold now. Maybe after season tickets are sold some might come up in Cusack again but I wouldn't bank on it. If demand is big I suppose they might open upper hogan but still quite a number available in davin lower. As most tickets now are only middling mm maybe hold on and hope they open upper hogan.
