Is McLoughlin not available for Galway this year? If so why travelling? I believe Hernon out as travelling. Is O Conghaile with Galway? Didn see him on development panel which may be a good sign for him as might be higher up the ladder if so? O Curraoin deserves a shot in league from FBD & college. Yeah, the keeper cost them the TUD game at the end and he almost did the same last night.

Cillian Ó Curraoin stood out more in the last few games for university of Galway than two of Mayo best senior forwards in Ryan O'Donoghue, Tommy Conroy so that is one reason alone why he should be getting minutes in the upcoming NFL. He is fine. Came on at the end of the Sigerson game last night.

Both of the young Galway forwards have stood out more than their better known Mayo teammates, in the Sigerson games to date. Obviously they're hungry to establish themselves and push to a higher level, whereas the Mayo lads are more likely to be easing their way into the season. Even still, both have shown a lot of quality, which is very promising. WanPintWin (Galway) - Posts: 2187 - 24/01/2024 16:55:05 2521929 Link 0 |

So Leitir Mór and Barna have their business done. Any word from MM? Have all senior teams managements in place?

Correct losing out to Kerry opposition in the AI semi final when had a commanding lead. The opposite happened yesterday 9 points behind midway through the 2nd half to win by 3 Padraig Martyn 3-3, Colm Costello 0-8 the stand outs. Carrick on Shannon CS in the final now who they beat comfortably in the group stages.

He's definitely in the squad. Rumours that he has a knock though so might miss the first couple league games.

Yes O'Curraoin is even taking the frees ahead of Ryan O'Donoghue, which is amazing for such a young player. I hope he gets a run in the league, looks a promising talent.

That's good news, we don't seem to win anything without a Dunmore connection.

Handy enough win for Claregalway College to get into the senior A final. Some team at schools level to still have Eanna Monaghan, Jack Lonergan and Stephen Curley on it. galway19 (Galway) - Posts: 790 - 25/01/2024 19:46:01 2522091 Link 0 |
Cillian Trayers back training too. Focusing on hurling primarily. They all do Transition Year which is a huge help for football. I was looking at the panel and the amount of young footballers Claregalway have at their disposal is something else. Who is over them at senior level this year? Can Galway's physios please improve on our flexibility and have our lads stretch and stretch and stretch some more before the Mayo match. The amount of muscular strains, pulls and tears with Damo and others in the Galway setup is off the charts when compared to such stats for Dublin for example. Are we getting our warm ups, stretching work and flexibility right? Hope we are! togoutlads (Galway) - Posts: 971 - 26/01/2024 15:51:27 2522215 Link 0 |
I've heard their underage is massive and if managed properly they could emerge as the main club in Galway.
