Replying To ExiledInWex:  "You only have to look at the difference he made v Kilkenny compared to the previous matches without him."
Yeah, we won without him in the league but as we all know there is a big difference between league and championship. Look at Limerick early on, they were leadenfooted and lost a number of games , including to ourselves.
Look at them now.
Take waterford, winning the league but are now long gone.
Wexford were flying in the league winning 5 on the bounce and then were as flat as a bottle of 7 up with the cap off for 24 hours against Waterford. Beaten by Dublin and were terrible against Westmeath . Although we are now back to our best, the real tests are still to come. Let's wait and see how we cope with Kerry first and if as expected we get over that hurdle we will surely have an almighty battle v Clare.

Replying To Samson55:  "Natural striker or unnatural striker. If as you say Chin is not a natural striker does it really matter? He has proved unquestionably on the fields around the country that he is a mighty warrior. Possibly one of wexfords greatest.
I know you will come back and rightly mention Doran or Rackard or Martin Quigley or many others who have played with distinction down the years. I personally don't see anything wrong with his stickwork.
When on his game, which is nearly always, he can win high ball and strike from distance.
They don't always go over the bar but his dedication his strength his solo runs his leadership qualities his overall positional sense
Believe me any of the top teams would grab him if they could.
Natural striker or unnatural striker, Lee Chin is worth his weight in gold."
Didn't say he doesn't mean the world to us and agree with a your points just saying I.m.o. he's not a natural striker that's all.

Replying To WEX98:  "This game is a token gesture, it's meant to be the "All-Ireland series" and it's not even to be streamed legally (Buff Egan will have it more or less live).

If you think Kerry are any threat, you know nothing about hurling. Respect bla bla bla. If the Kerry footballers were coming to Wexford Park I'd say the same about the Wexford footballers.

Wexford are a serious hurling county, I'd even suggest number 4 after the so called traditional 3."
Are you drunk or what? First Chin is better than TK and now this rubbish. Embarrassing, you do not represent the views of the average Wexford hurling fan.

The Wexford v Kerry game which was not to be televised live or was not going to be streamed,
Will now be available to view on GAAGO.
That information is on the GAA website.

Wexford will beat Kerry by 16 points this Saturday evening
Cork will beat Antrim by 13 points
Then the big quarter finals

We have only ourselves to blame. If we had drawn or beat the Dubs or beat Westmeath we would've been in a Leinster final that we could well have won. It is what it is now. Either we will come roaring out of the long grass like a Lion or be devoured like a Springbok.

I love your positivity and you could well be right. It's up to the lads to prove it by winning their next 2 games. If we don't win our next 2 games then we are still in the group between 5 and 9.

Yep some of the stuff over the last few pages is fairly off the scale tbh.

Back to some actual sanity, anyone hear of any possible team selection news, injury news etc etc for saturday?

Shane Reck is in contention to play. Shaun Murphy training but not yet match fit. Apart from that a fit squad. That from the paper.

Not saying that this Wexford team is no. 4, I think Limerick are no. 1 and rest are 50:50 on any given day.

I'm saying that when people talk about the so called big 3 traditional hurling counties, Wexford are up there, not sure that many people outside of Wexford understand just how much hurling is played in Wexford, the amount of coaching or the investment most clubs are making in the local communities.

All the talk was about Rory O Connor in the league but for me Chin is still our best player

No they probably don't by and large. They also don't understand that nearly all these hurlers from u7 upwards also play football to a comparable level, something that is unusual in most of the other top hurling counties. Yes they all have good dual players too, but to nowhere near the extent we have.

Chin is definitely our most influential player. Rory is a completely different sort of hurler.

Wexford v Limerick All Ireland final....

Think we have a great chance to shock Clare and will beat that KK team in Croke Park.

14/1 to reach the final, you heard it hear first.
