Replying To Aloblack:  "Jesus lad quit while ur behind will ya. Once again absolute drivel out of u. Giving knowledgeable meath supporters a bad name. And before you start yes i know you've been at every single meath game since 1972 or whatever but that just means your committed. Doesn't mean you have a clue what your on about which you have proven time and time again you don't."
He knows nothing about Meath football Alo. Gets shown up here and on the home page every week.

Replying To Greenfield:  "We've seen how knowledgeable the dubs fans are on football. From cheering a fake Connolly against Tyrone a few years back to that joker on the radio after the game last Sunday raving about Conor McHugh's performance against Kildare.
Yiz have your self proclaimed greatest team ever and the majority of 'fans' can't even be bothered going to watch/support them.

So maybe you'll forgive us if it seems we don't value your opinion."
Agreed, a lot of muppets jump on the blue bandwagon every summer but that happens in every county that have a good run, also i couldn't give a damn if you don't value my opinion but you still read it, so happy days!

Spot on! Great supporter but talks absolute bull, maybe that's got something to do with his local!

Not sure about the agree part; I never mentioned bandwagon jumpers.
One of the examples I gave was from last weekend when there weren't too many badwagonners on show.
It would suggest the lack of knowledge might be a little bit more widespread among you boys than you seem to think.

Feel free to bang on even though no one is listening.

Peace.

Replying To Foreveraroyal:  "It's great for us to back in a Leinster final and to have a buzz about County and we are progressing and each game is a learning curve no matter win loose or draw. I am going to Croker next believing we can win because you might aswell stay at home if you don't believe you we can win no matter how slim our chances and sometimes upsets happen and the pressure on Dublin as they are expected to beat us easily and they are great side but every team is beatable. So let's get behind the lads cheer them on let's hope for a good showing and all you Dubs out we are coming for you. Cmon the Royal."
Well said.

Nonsense again. Stay at home if you don't believe meath can win? I dont believe they can win in fact i know they won't win but ill still be in croker roaring the lads on and giving as much support as i possibly can. That's what real supporters do. Real supporters go and give their support no matter what. Not just if they think they can win so u telling people who are realists and know we can't win to stay away is ridiculous.

Ah lads pipe down, some here know we're going to win, other know we're going lose, personally I haven't a clue but I'll turn up give my support anyway.

I hope we win, I know it's a huge test but that's part of the fun, and it'll be one of the great days if we do pull it off. If we don't and we get a hiding I'll be gutted but I'll still make every effort to be there the next day out and hopefully we qualify for the super 8s one way or another.

Fans have to do their bit though, it would be brilliant to see 20k+ Meath fans turn up for the final, perhaps that's ambitious but fingers crossed.

......now everybody hug and kiss and make up :-)

But your telling them that you "know" they won't win, how's that supporting them, yes we need a bit of luck to beat this dublin team but anything can happen in sport and if the breaks go our way then who knows. I be there in Croke park encouraging this young meath team on and hopefully see our joint captions lift the Delaney cup. Hon the royals

If a meath vs Dublin Leinster final does not draw a massive amount of royals in croker then it's a worrying time.

See fergal lynch saying guys on the team would go through a brick wall to get at dubs, never has he seen such confidence and enthusiasm for a match.
Thankfully they not on here, listening to dubious so called Meath supporters.
Hon the royal

So will i be there roaring the lads on encouraging them to the very end despite the fact i know they won't win. My gripe is with all these people saying if you don't believe we can win stay away from croker. If that's the case and supporters actually cut the bull and started being's honest there would be very few of us going to croker. But we'll all be there getting behind the team no matter what. Just because i know they cant or won't win doesn't mean im not gonna bother showing up and supporting the team.

More importantly the 4th round qualifier the week after. That's our all Ireland final and the reward will be hosting a top 8 team in navan. Mouth watering prospect.

Jaysus the quitters and no hopers are out here in force, it reads like a radiohead album on here, torrid negativity.

'I know my team is going to be absolutely demolished but I'm going to go watch it anyway', that's almost sadomasochistic isn't it?

Ps, UP DA ROYAL :-)

On a positive note, read the interview with Brian menton, knows what they have to do, and not going up to fulfill a fixture, going up to win. Every Meath player fully believes that they can win. Thank god none of them allowed near hoganstand.

Yeah. I've a funny feeling that it's only one or two with a multiple personality, if you get my drift.
