Mayo manager Andy Moran says his team “can't be worrying too much” about Kerry’s star players ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland SFC final.

The Kingdom are looking to retain the Sam Maguire Cup at Croke Park this weekend, while the Westerners are out to end a 75-year wait for their county.

Speaking to media this weekend ahead of Sunday’s showdown, Moran pointed to the fact that Mayo must maximise what they have within their group if they are to get over the line.

"Kerry are Kerry. They're the All-Ireland champions for a reason. They've been the best team in the country over the last 24 months but we can only worry about ourselves,” he is quoted saying by RTE Sport.

"We can't be going in there concentrating on the great players Kerry have. We need to really maximise what we have ourselves and that's what we'll be going after.

"You mentioned our full-forward line. We all know Kerry now at this stage, they're going to go after that. They always seem to go after the 'hammers' or whatever they deem the threats. That's the way they've always played.

"We can't be worrying too much about them. We need to maximise what we have ourselves and we kind of build from there.

"I think our real strength is the work we've put in over the last couple of months."
