Another busy weekend as the Meath Hurling Championship comes to a conclusion, along with 3 LGFA finalls and the Junior B FC decider.
In a repeat of last years semi final and the 2022 final Trim and Ratoath meet once again. Trim are looking for title number 29 while Ratoath only Jubilee Cup success came in 1963. There’s never much between these two sides in recent years and expect Sunday’s showdown to be no different. A late Padraig O’Hanrahan point earned Ratoath a 2-17 to 1-19 win over Trim in last years semi final.
Navan O’Mahony’s will be hoping to make up for last years replay defeat to Kildalkey when they take on an ever improving Drumree side in the Intermediate final. Drumree recorded a 1-20 to 4-8 win when they met in the group stages in mid August.
It’s another big weekend for the Navan club. Their minors take on Kildalkey in the Division 1 HC decider at Kiltale.
Neighbours Carnaross and Moynalty meet in the Junior B Football Final. The early throw in at Pairc Taiolteann is sure to draw a large crowd to the Navan venue.
Old foes at this stage Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels and Dunboyne meet in Pairc Tailteann to decide the destination of the Joe Breen Cup. The LGFA finals weekend gets underway tonight at Cortown.
