Sunday 4th August
The curtain came down on round 3 of the Meath Senior and Intermediate Hurling Championship this evening. A late point from Sean Cole earned Longwood a share of the spoils against Na Fianna at Ratmolyon. Trim needed three second half goals from Mikey Cole to see off the challenge of Clann na nGael at Boardsmill. Last years IHC winners Kildalkey suffered another defeat while Gaeil Colmcille picked up their first win of the campaign.

After shipping 4-31 last time out Dunderry conceded 6-31 in todays only senior game at Athboy. Nick Fitzgerald’s charges led 1-16 to 0-7 at the break. Navan O’Mahonys and Boardsmill made it three in a row in the Intermediate

Friday August 2nd
Ten points from Jack Regan and a James Kelly goal put Kiltale on the road to a nine point win over Killyon at Lomans Park. John Donoghue’s men have two wins and a draw while this was Killyon’s first defeat after wins over Longwood and Na Fianna. Keith Keogan hit nine points for the men in red.
After an opening round win over Clann na nGael and a round two loss to holders Kildalkey, Kilmessan got back on track with a 16 point win over Dunboyne.
Kilskyre/Moylagh got their first win of the Intermediate campaign with a big win over Trim at Boardsmill.

Ratoath got their second win of the senior hurling championship campaign at Kilmessan. After a 0-17 apiece draw with Kiltale in round 1 Mickey Cole’s charges have scored 6-56 in rounds two and three. Ratoath led at the break 2-12 to 0-9 and totally dominated the second half.
