Leinster Council delegate Mairead Delaney as well as chairman Jason Plunkett appealed to clubs to put their full support behind the Euro Millions Syndicate fundraiser at last night’s county committee meeting.

The syndicate which has a March 1st starting date will have 300 members at €500 a head for 52 weeks. Two draws take place each week, Tuesday and Friday, with 100 lines per draw and 10,400 chances in total.

The proceeds will fund player and facilities development as well as the three new pitches presently being developed at the Centre of Excellence in Dunganny.

Each club in the county is being encouraged to contribute by purchasing at least three memberships and to promote participation among their members.

Full details can be had through clubs, by contacting any member of the organizing committee or on the Meath GAA website. Closing date for entries is February 29th.
