St Tiernach’s Park, Clones will host the Ulster senior football championship final between Armagh and Donegal on Saturday week, May 10th.

Holders Donegal booked their place in the provincial decider against the All-Ireland champions thanks to a 1-19 to 0-16 win over Down at the Monaghan ground earlier today, with Kieran McGeeney’s side having pipped Tyrone (0-23 to 0-22) at the same venue yesterday evening.

There had been suggestions that the final, which is a repeat of last year’s Anglo-Celt Cup decider, could be staged at Croke Park.

However, Ulster Council have confirmed this evening that the game will be played in Clones and will have a throw-in time of 5.25pm as it is set to be preceded by the LGFA Ulster senior championship final between the same two counties at 2.30pm.
