Galtee Rovers clubman Colin Morrissey has been dropped from the Tipperary senior hurling panel.
Midfielder Morrissey lined out at midfield for the Premier County against Limerick last time out but was substituted after 54 minutes with Conor O'Mahoney being introduced instead.
"Colin Morrissey has shown unbelievable commitment to Tipperary - he's studying and living in Dublin and training with Tipp," said Tipp boss Babs Keating.
"But we were appointed by the county board to do a job and whether we're doing it right or wrong, time will tell."
