Two-time All-Ireland SHC winner Kieran 'Fraggy' Murphy is the new Cork minor hurling manager.

The Sarsfields clubman moves up from the role of U16 manager, having previously been involved with the minors in 2020. He also served as a senior coach in 2018 and '19 under John Meyler, and was involved with Clare during Davy Fitzgerald's time in charge. During his playing days, 'Fraggy' won All-Ireland medals with the Rebels in 2004 and '05, and also garnered Cork SHC titles with Sars'.

Cork have also announced the appointment of Éire Óg's Ray O'Mahony as their new minor football manager. Like Murphy, he makes the step-up from U16 manager as part of the Rebel Óg development squad pathway.
