Coalisland forward Cormac O’Hagan believes that winning a county title is one of the best feelings in the world.
O’Hagan was one of the stars of the show for Coalisland as they gained a degree of revenge for their 2016 county final replay defeat to Killyclogher.
The two sides met in the final last Sunday and this time Coalisland were worthy champions with O’Hagan who is son of former Tyrone star Damien chipping in with 0-02.
“I’m completely lost for words, this is the best feeling of my life,” O’Hagan told the Ulster Herald. “If you had’ve told us after we lost those league matches and that we’d end up winning the county championship, I’d ask you what you were on. It’s just great.
He added about redemption for 2016: “The first day we let it slip away from us and we got trounced in the replay. There were a lot of men here who felt they needed to right the wrongs of 2016. Thankfully we’ve now shown the type of team we are and what we can do.”
