One of Kieran Kingston's first key decisions as Cork senior hurling manager has been to appoint defender Stephen McDonnell as captain for 2016.
A regular with the Rebel County since making his senior debut in 2011, McDonnell played an instrumental role in Glen Rovers' recent county final victory over Sarsfields.
He takes over the captaincy from goalkeeper Anthony Nash.
TweetCongratulations to @smcdonnell_ on his appointment as @OfficialCorkGAA hurling Captain 2016.
