Dave Clarke has joined TJ Ryan's Limerick senior hurling management set-up.
The Irish Examiner reports that there was no objection to the ratification of the 1994 All-Star at last night's County Committee meeting.
The meeting was the first since Donal O'Grady parted company with the Shannonsiders in controversial circumstances and chairman Oliver Mann wouldn't entertain any debate on the subject saying "going back over events would not serve Limerick well".
Limerick resumed training for the defence of their Munster SHC title last night after a weekend of club action and the players met Clarke - who was previously involved with the county U-21 team back in 2003 - for the first time as a group.
Limerick will take on Dublin in a behind closed doors challenge match this weekend while their open night has been scheduled for UL on Friday.
