Mount Leinster Rangers maintained their vice like grip on the Carlow SHC silverware with a comprehensive final victory over parish rivals St Mullin's at Dr Cullen Park yesterday.
The defending champions never looked back after Paul Coady opened the scoring with a point.
Right corner-forward Denis Murphy notched the game's only goal in the first half and the defending champions held a 1-10 to 0-7 interval advantage.
They proceeded to outscore their opponents by 10 points to four in the second half to run out convincing winners and make it three senior hurling titles in a row.
Murphy top scored for the winners with 1-8.
