Jacko didn't expect run-out

Wicklow's Jacko Dalton. INPHO
Wicklow's match saver Jacko Dalton wasn't expecting to get on against Roscommon.
Dalton came off the bench to strike a last-gasp equalising goal at Dr Hyde Park on Sunday, marking his return to the intercounty fold in considerable style:
"Everyone was fairly positive after the game and we're looking forward to the challenge of Antrim in Aughrim," the Kiltegan man says in The Wicklow People.
"I didn't think I'd get a game at all. I've been keeping myself in good condition and I'm in fairly good shape but I didn't think I'd get a game.
"Obviously, I wanted to. Every sub on the bench is dying to get on the pitch and when I got the call I wanted to put my shoulder to the wheel and help the lads out.
"I knew I had to get in and get on the ball and do the simple things.
"You're not going to take over the world when you come on so you need to work yourself into the game, get the ball, give it off and see what happens then."
