Dublin 1-19
Wexford 0-16
Paul Ryan was on target with 12 points as Dublin claimed the Walsh Cup with a six-point victory over Wexford in Bellefield.
David O'Callaghan also made a big contribution to the Dubs' success by netting the game's only goal in the 29th minute.
The teams were level on 0-6 apiece after 25 minutes but the team in sky blue and navy hit 1-3 without reply to go in at the break with a 1-9 to 0-6 lead.
A Ryan free extended Dublin's lead after the resumption before substitute Gareth Sinnott and Paul Morris pulled points back for the home side.
Normal service was soon restored, however, and Dublin closed out a convincing victory despite the appearance of dual star Lee Chin - who made the dash back from Armagh after the football league game was postponed - as a Wexford substitute
Interestingly, former Clare hurler Tony Griffin joined fellow county man Anthony Daly along the sideline for yesterday's game and looks to be an addition to the Dublin backroom team.
