Offaly overcame a slow start to get their FL Division 4 campaign off to a winning start away to London.

Emmet McDonnell's side were slow out of the blocks and conceded 1-3 in the opening 11 minutes.

The Exiles' goal came from the penalty spot courtesy of Padraig McGoldrick.

London led by 1-4 to 0-5 at the change of ends but with Peter Cunningham in good scoring form, the visitors enjoyed the better of the second half exchanges.

Anton Sullivan found the back of the London net in the second half.
