Waterford 'keeper leaves squad
May 29, 2012

Waterford's Adrian Power
Adrian Power is understood to have quit the Waterford senior hurling squad.
The Ballyduff Upper clubman featured between the posts in Na Deise's vital NHL Division 1A victory over Dublin but was unable to establish himself as Michael Ryan's first-choice custodian.
And the 24-year-old WIT student has now quit the panel, according to WLRFM's Liz Reddy.
Power's departure leaves Waterford with just two recognised goalies in their squad as the championship opener against Clare looms and manager Ryan has intimated that he will not be drafting in a third at this late date.
Stephen O'Keeffe and Ian O'Regan will now battle it out to be the Suirsider's No.1 during the summer.
