Daniel Bohan could miss the remainder of Kerry's Allianz Football League campaign after undergoing a knee operation in Dublin yesterday.

The Austin Stacks defender was forced off with the injury just before half-time in Kerry's 11-point win over Donegal last Sunday and, following a scan on Monday, was sent to Dublin where he underwent minor cartilage surgery.

Bohan is facing at least four weeks on the sidelines, meaning he will miss this Sunday's local derby clash with Cork in Pairc Ui Chaoimh as well as the games against Laois and Mayo. However, he could be back for the final if Kerry - who currently occupy top spot in Division 1 - qualify. Tweet
