Tyrone proved far too strong for Fermanagh in this Dr McKenna Cup semi-final (2-12 to 1-4).
The second instalment of the last-four double bill at Armagh's Athletic Grounds saw these neighbours clash for the second time in five days and once more it was old master Mickey Harte who got the better of his one-time prodigy Peter Canavan in the managerial stakes.
Victory sets the O'Neill County up for another derby match in the final, where they will face holders Derry next weekend - a repeat of last year's decider (which the Oak Leafers won by 2-12 to 2-11).
The opposition managers for the forthcoming decider had a good chance to run the rule over each other's teams today as Derry took on Down in the curtain-raiser at 2:00, with Tyrone V Fermanagh Pt II throwing-in at 3:45.
It was the Ernesmen who made the brighter start to lead by four points early on thanks to a goal from their new attacking talisman Seamus Quigley, 1-2 to 0-1.
The losers were two to the good at the turnaround but - as has been their wont in the competition this far - the Red Hands stepped it up upon the restart, reeling off five points to a solitary reply before Owen Mulligan's goal put the match out of Fermanagh's reach.
Ronan O'Neill (1-4) added the second goal for the winners, who had a Man of the Match performance from full forward Mark Donnelly.
