Kerry star Paul Galvin ended his 2011 season on a high yesterday when he helped Finuge to the North Kerry senior football championship title.

Galvin was instrumental as Finuge held on to clinch a 1-9 to 0-11 win over Ballylongford and claim their first title since 2001.

Kerry Under 21 manager Eamon Fitzmaurice blasted in the game's only goal in the 52nd minute, after being set-up by Galvin, with the winners having led by 0-7 to 0-5 at that stage.

Meanwhile, Declan O'Suillivan helped book Munster JFC champions Dromid Pearses into the South Kerry Championship final with a semi-final replay win over Waterville, which finished on a 0-10 to 0-6 score-line. Tweet
