Moore back in Galway fold

Galway's Fergal Moore
Fergal Moore has returned to the Galway senior hurling squad after seven months on the sidelines.
The Turloughmore defender suffered from hamstring problems stemming from his right leg being shorter than his left, which caused a pelvic imbalance and ruled him out for more than half a year.
While he is delighted to be back in the county fold, Moore knows that one more serious injury could call time on his playing career.
"It's not too bad at the moment, thank God," said Moore. "I'm taking a full part in training and it's so far, so good.
"It's touch-and-go, though. My surgeon Stephen Kerins did a great job and told me to get back into it. If it goes again then there's really only one option and I'll have to knock it on the head but I'm not thinking that way."
Moore is optimistic after watching his side go down by just one-point to last year's All-Ireland champions, but admits that the Tribesmen still have a bit to do to reach the standards that Tipperary and Kilkenny have set.
He said: "Losing by one point to the champions doesn't sound too bad but the standard of hurling was stepped up again in the final against Kilkenny. But the mood is good in the panel and management have really freshened things up by bring in some new faces."
