Today's Galway IFC semi-final meeting of Cortoon Shamrocks and Dunmore McHales at Tuam Stadium is the latest high profile championship match to be postponed in the county because of Covid-19.

It has been confirmed that a Cortoon player came in close contact with a suspected case of Covid-19.

The Galway SHC semi-final clash between Cappataggle and St Thomas' and the county camogie senior and junior finals suffered the same fate over fears of the coronavirus.
