League final fixed for Sunday as Mayo's request turned down

Mayo's request to have Sunday's Allianz Football League Division 1 final against neighbours Galway switched to Saturday evening has fallen on deaf ears.
Kevin McStay's side has sought the switch to give them an extra day's recovery before facing Roscommon in the Connacht SFC quarter-final the following weekend, but the decider will go ahead as planned on Sunday at 4pm in Croke Park.
It will be preceded by the Division 2 final showdown between Derry and Dublin at 1.45pm.
Croke Park will also host a Division 3 and 4 final double-header on Saturday evening.
All four Allianz Football League finals will be live on TG4.
