Div 4 League Final - Hard luck to the lads in the Div 4 league final on Mon 16 Jul in Aughrim. Tinahely win by the smallest of margins. Tinahely 3-7 Blessington 1-12.

Jun B - Jun B football championship at home on Thurs 26 Jul Blessington V An Tochar at 7.30pm.

Jun C -Jun C football championship away v AGB in Pearse Park, Arklow on Fri 27 Jul at 7.30pm.

Ladies

Wicklow Ladies - Well done to the Wicklow Ladies especially our own Kim Connors who beat Offaly on Sun 22 Jul on a scoreline Wicklow 3-15 Offaly 2-11. The ladies are now in the quarter final. Well done to Mick O'Rourke and his management team.

Blessington GAA Ladies 25 Anniversary Celebrations - Our Ladies 25 Year Celebrations is only a few weeks away Sat 25 Aug. We have an action-packed day not to be missed. All welcome, we look forward to seeing old & new friends of the club, past & present players and management and the wider community. Come along and join in the craic of this wonderful occasion.

Senior Ladies - Ladies are away to Sarsfields  on Wed 25 Jul at 8pm.  

U16 girls - U16 girls white at home v Clan na Gael on Tues 24 Jul at 7.30pm.

U8 girls - U8 and U10 blitz in Carnew on Sat 28 Jul at 10.30am.

Juvenile boys

Wicklow U16's - Wicklow's U16 footballers drew with Wexford  in Joule Park, Aughrim on July 18 1-16 to 3-10 in the second round of the Gerry Reilly Leinster GAA Championship. Well done to our club member Jake O'Kelly. This result now leaves Wicklow needing to defeat Laois in their last group game in order to qualify for the semi finals. 

 

U11's - On Thurs 20 Jul the Red squad had a rescheduled fixture away to Fergal Og. 
With most of 2008 kids not available a couple of U9 players Cormac and Fiacha travelled with us (thanks lads). The lads played really well and attacked the game from the off and finished up easy winners. Well done to players/coaches and parents for travelling on a Friday evening. As usual parents commitment 100% which is key. On Wed 25 Jul U11 Red away v Baltinglass 2 7.15pm. Also on Wed U11 Blessington Blue v An Tochar at home at 7.15pm. Also  Blessington White away v Eire Og at 7.15pm.

U9's - Under 9's travelled to Vallymount on Sat morning 21 Jul to play in the Go Games. We played Hollywood, Vallymount and Kilbride/Lacken. The lads put in a super mornings football with all their skills on show

U7's - We travelled to Ballinakill for the Wicklow Go Games monster blitz on Sat 21 Jul. Even though we had a lot of kids unavailable due to the time of year we still had 11 players that travelled out and put in great performances in our 3 games. We won 2 games and lost our last game to a very good Avondale side. All players played excellent and we definitely unearthed a future Blesso Capt. Thank you to all parents who made the journey out your support is very appreciated.

Hurling

U11's - Western Gaels v Eire Og 3 at the pitch on Fri 27 Jul at 7.15pm.

Kelloggs Cul Camps - The Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp programme continues July 23rd - July 27th. This is a dual Cul Camp - Hurling and Football.

Clothing Collection ongoing - collecting good quality second hand clothing suitable for re-use. Please fill as many black bin bags as you can - the more we collect, the more our club receives.
