The Dublin senior hurling championship is down to its semi-final stage following the weekend’s results in the capital.
A classic encounter between All-Ireland champions Na Fianna and Cuala saw the holders winning by 2-37 to 2-34 at Parnell Park as late points from Sean Currie, Colin Currie (free) and Charlie McCarthy got them over the line in extra time.
Na Fianna will now face Kilmacud Crokes in the semi-finals after Crokes saw off Naomh Barrog by 3-27 to 0-18 yesterday.
The other quarter-final on Saturday saw Ballyboden St Endas edge a 1-31 to 2-27 victory over St Vincent’s after extra time.
‘Boden will be up against Lucan Sarsfields in the last four after Sars recorded a 2-22 to 1-16 win against St Brigid’s in the earlier game at Parnell Park this afternoon.
