Louth midfielder Tommy Durnin is on the move again after his transfer from Inniskeen to Ardee St Mary's was approved.
The inter-county transfer comes just days before Durnin is due to line out for Wee County against Kildare in the Leinster SFC semi-final and sees him return to his native county after a four-year spell with Grattans, who he helped reach the Monaghan SFC final in 2023 when they lost to Scotstown. Durnin joined Inniskeen from his home club Westerns.
The move is a huge boost to Ardee's bid for a four-in-a-row of Joe Ward Cups this year and comes on the back of Brian Talty's arrival at DEFY Páirc Mhuire from Raheny, where he was Brian Fenton's regular midfield partner.
