Kerry and Cork reveal line-ups for Munster SFC final

Kerry boss Jack O’Connor has made two changes to his side for Sunday’s Munster senior football championship final showdown with Cork in Killarney.

Evan Looney and Sean O’Brien come into the All-Ireland champions’ starting 15 from the provincial semi-final win over Clare last time out, with Tom O’Sullivan and Cillian Trant the players to miss out.

Marksman Sean O’Shea and midfield All-Star Joe O’Connor miss out on the matchday squad through injury, while Paudie Clifford is named to start on ‘the 40’ for the holders with is brother David, Paul Geaney, Keith Evans making up the full-forward line.

Meanwhile, Cork manager John Cleary has named his line-up for the southern province’s decider.

The three changes for the Rebels see Patrick Doyle, Colm O’Callaghan and Ruairi Deane coming in from last month’s semi-final win over Tipperary, with Micheál Aodh, Sean Walsh and Conor Cahalane the players to miss out.

O’Callaghan and skipper Ian Maguire start at centre-field while Chris Og Jones leads the attack from full-forward where he’ll be flanked by Mark Cronin and Steven Sherlock.

Throw-in at Fitzgerald Stadium is at 1.45pm.
