Former Cork camogie boss Paudie Murray has been named as the new St Finbarr's senior hurling manager.
Murray, who guided the Cork camogs to All-Ireland wins in 2014, '15, '17, and '18, fills the void left by legendary goalkeeper Ger Cunningham, who delivered a first Cork SHC title to the famous city club in 29 years in 2022.
The new manager will be assisted by his brother and coach Kevin. A Liam MacCarthy Cup winner in 1999, Kevin will also serve as a Cork football selector under John Cleary next year.
In last Tuesday night's 2026 Cork Premier SHC draw, the 'Barr's were placed in the same group as Midleton, Newcestown, and Bride Rovers.
