The fixtures for the quarter-finals of the Waterford senior hurling championship are now set following yesterday’s results.
The preliminary quarter-finals in the Deise County on Saturday saw Fourmilewater defeating Abbeyside by 0-27 to 3-15, Clonea edging a 2-15 to 1-17 win against Dungarvan, Passage overcoming Brickey Rangers by 1-18 to 2-12 and De La Salle cruising past Ferrybank (0-22 to 0-9).
Yesterday’s four winning teams have joined defending champions Ballygunner, Mount Sion, Roanmore and Lismore in the last eight and the draws have since confirmed the following pairings:
Ballygunner v Passage
Mount Sion v Clonea
Lismore v De La Salle
Roanmore v Fourmilewater
The relegation semi-finals sees Dungarvan taking on Brickey Rangers while Abbeyside meet Ferrybank.
