An All-Ireland SFC final rematch between Mayo and Kerry could be on the cards this November.

The Irish Independent reports that both counties have sought permission for a challenge game at Stone X Stadium, the home of English rugby side Saracens.

The staging of the game between the All-Ireland champions and the Munster champions could see the Prem Rugby ground’s capacity extended to 15,000.

Both counties have strong links in the English capital, with Mayo having visited Brentford after their win over London in the Connacht SFC in April and the club congratulated Mayo after their All-Ireland triumph last month on its social media channels.

It’s understood that the GAA’s Central Council have been asked for permission to play the game at the London ground, with Saturday, November 28th being the proposed date.
